This Friday 25th May at the Barking SportHouse Arena the England international Futsal team will face Denmark in the first of two clashes.

The England team are coming off the back of two victories over Switzerland, we caught up with England captain Luke Ballinger of Oxford Lions.

Futsal-Futbol (FF): How have you and the team prepared for the game this Friday?

Luke Ballinger (LB): The team met up a couple of weeks ago here in barking with a training camp and will train again a couple of times tomorro. I have jus been in the gym and obviously had a gruelling weekend at the national finals.

(FF): How do you rate Denmark as opponents?

(LB): Denmark are a new side to the international scene but can not be takin lightly. We will show them the respect they deserve but it is a game where we need to be accepting nothin less than 2 victories.

(FF):How important do you feel it is to win these friendly games?

(LB): These friendlies are important it keeps the group together and helps us practise things we need to work on going into big tournaments. I’d just like to add that everyones commitment and support to this game in England is fantastic and really is appreciated by all players. Keep up the hardwork.
